Private Charley V. Hopson, 23,   He was born at Cerro Gordo, Ar.  He registered and was sent to Camp Pike, Arkansas July 26, 1918, where he was assigned to Co. D. 4th Bt'n Replacement Training Center.  Previous to entering service this soldier was farming for his mother, Mrs. Fannie Hopson, near Cerro Gordo, Arkansas.

Raney P. Brown


 Sergeant Raney P. Brown, aged 23 years, son of A.P. Brown, Richmond, Arkansas, was born in Arden, Arkansas; volunteered for service in the army April 17th, 1917, at Richmond, Arkansas; was sent to Camp Beauregard, Louisiana, a member of Co. C 141st machine Gun Batallion; arrived over seas in August, 1918.  Prior to enlistment he was a member of the M.E. South church, Richmond, Arkansas.  Was engaged, with his father A.P. Brown, in farming near Richmond, Arkansas; prior to entering service. 
Raney is the son of A.P. & Ada Perry Brown

Bush, Winthrop, Arkansas, was born in Little River County, Arkansas.  He registered and was sent from Winthrop, Arkansas to Camp Pike, Arkansas, on August 27th, 1918, and was later assigned to Co. 1.  Previous to being called to serve his country he was assisting his father in farming near Winthrop, Arkansas

He entered the service as a registrant June 20th.........and was sent to Camp Pike, Arkansas 
for training and assigned to Co. H. 815 Pioneer Inf. Reg.  Later sent to France. 
Previous to entering the service, this soldier was in the employ of 
Miss Ada Mills, Wilton, Arkansas engaged in farming.

Brazil of Cerro Gordo, Arkansas, was born at Winthrop, Ark.  He registered at Niame, La. and was sent to Camp Pike, Arkansas for training on December 17, 1917; arrived over seas in August 1918.  he is a member of the Canna Church, Baptist.  Previous to entering service he was station agent at Miane, La., with the Kansas city Southern Railway Co.
